Fuji-San Sunset 1

So I was sitter here at my computer writing that last post about the tilt shift photos and my wife was like “hey check out Fuji-San behind you”. I turned around to see this amazing sunset starting and grabbed my gear and shot about 50 shots with my 70-200 f2.8L and 1.4x TeleConverter.

Tomorrow morning I am planning to get up early and catch the sunrise out the other side of the house. Should be pretty good.

Tokyo and little people… 0

So my wife and I are in Tokyo at the moment visiting family and just hanging. I have been wanting to try shooting with a tilt shift lens for a long time now but for those of you who don’t know they are not cheap. I have heard that you can make your own but that is also something I haven’t had time to do. So I figured out that it’s pretty easy to fake it in Photoshop using the Lens blur filter. Anyway, I took some shots form a tall building looking down into a park and some other stuff and then processed them in Photoshop and I think they work pretty well. It gives that look of being a model. I will shoot some more while I am here and try to perfect this technique. These are a few of the shots that I liked.
