Glossy or not, that is my question
So in the near future I plan on upgrading my trusty old Titanium PowerBook G4 to a new MacBook Pro. These machines are amazing and a total work house. My only question is about the glossy screen option. Does anyone have any experience with this from a photographic and design point of view?

On the Apple site they describe it like this
Finishing coat.
MacBook Pro offers an antiglare widescreen display that’s perfect for color-minded professionals. For a more immersive viewing experience, you can configure the MacBook Pro display with a glossy finish. This gives everything you see a richer, more saturated feel.
That sounds nice but when I went to the store the other day and check them out side by side the glossy one just looked cheap to me and didn’t seem as sharp. They are the same price so money is not he issue, I want to get what’s best for editing photos and doing design work. Any advice would be much appreciated.

.i have the glossy screen and i love it to pieces. but the only bad part is that it’s kinda like on zoolander, when he’s standing in the lunchline and catches his reflection in a spoon and realizes he’s rediculously goodlooking. yeah…..that happens quite often, especially with the glare of the sun on the screen…..mmmmmm that’t good.
Don’t Listen to Sarah, get the non glossy, the reflection sucks when the sun hits you.
