Junker Family Photos 0

I got to shoot some family photos for the Junker family here in the front yard of NORTHSTAR where we work. You can see in the background some of the Bike Park features which I thought added some of the Adventure theme to the photos.

A Day on the Mountain 0

We went up to the top of Mt. Norikura a few days ago and the weather was great. So beautiful and warm. Great for hiking. We got to the summit and then some fog set in so the beginning was better for shooting. I also shot some time lapses with my handy timer cable release. That is such a great tool.

NORTHSTAR, the outdoor lodge I am working for now just got featured in a Japanese magazine called MOMO. It features trendy street fashion, sports and some tech stuff and has a circulation of several hundred thousand every 2 weeks. I was expecting a small thumbnail image in some obscure place but I got a full page on the opening spread of the MTB feature. I am pretty stoked. A few weeks ago I posted this image on my “First shots on my 30D” post. I didn’t really think that shot was all that good but I guess they liked it.

Double Decade 1

Does anyone else remember the Snowboard Film called “Decade”? Well it has been 10 years since Mack Dawg released that film. Well Mack Dawg is still going at it and this should get your stoke on for the season.

Congratulations to the Ota Family 1

I have been in Thailand for the last four days shooting a wedding for some friends, Shingo and Saeko. First let me say that Thailand is awesome. The weather has been great and we are here about two weeks before the busy season starts so it’s been pretty dead on the beaches which has been good for shooting. We stayed at the Railay Hotel & Spa which was really nice and they have pretty good deals.

We were a little worried about the demonstrations going on in Bangkok but once we got here we found out that it’s really not all that big of a deal.
Here are a few shots.
